Key Responsibilities and skills:
Conduct the performance of tests related to safety, cycle life, and environmental testing of LFP cells, modules, and packs
Operate and maintain battery test equipment (battery cyclers, thermal chambers, SMPS, Load bank DAQ systems, etc.)
Develop and execute test protocols based on equivalent standards like IEC 62619, TSEC UL, UN38.3, BIS, IEC, etc.
Develop and execute comprehensive DVP (Design Verification Plan) and test cases for battery validation cell validation and BMS functionality tests.
Analyze battery performance data and create detailed technical reports and make reports as per the customer requirements qualification and maintain the report for the future evaluations.
Support battery certification processes, compliance documentation, and coordination with labs/agencies.
Assist in battery pack integration into Telecom and ESS platforms including Modbus,
RS485/Modbus protocol communication testing.
Knowledge in BMS integration, Components and system monitoring, fault simulation, CAN /RS485 diagnostics, and logging.
Knowledge in EMI/EMC.
Knowledge in integration of parts like Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal and NPI line and Manufacturing process.
Qualifications: Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field;
- A master's degree from prestigious institutes in Electrical Engineering or related fields is considered an advantage
