As an Automation Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for web browser–based applications to ensure high-quality software releases. You will also leverage AI-assisted testing tools to improve test efficiency, coverage, and defect detection.
Key Responsibilities
Design,
develop, and maintain web browser automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
Execute automation across multiple web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.) and validate cross-browser compatibility.
Develop and execute API automation tests using REST Assured.
Identify and prioritize automation test scenarios from regression, sanity, and smoke suites.
Analyze test execution results, debug failures, and report defects with explicit logs and screenshots.
Integrate automation execution with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Manage automation code using Git/GitHub, following version control best practices.
Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve defects efficiently.
Participate in peer reviews of automation scripts and test cases.
Use AI-assisted tools for:
Test case creation and optimization
Failure analysis and flaky test detection
Improving automation coverage and productivity
