Position: Part time Accountant
Location: Onsite – Kakkanad, Kochi
Employment Type: Part-Time (One day per week)
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Part-Time Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial records. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of basic accounting practices and be comfortable working with accounting software and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle purchase, sales, expense, and payment entries.
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, and receipts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank and cash transactions.
Maintain proper documentation of financial records.
Assist with GST and other basic accounting-related requirements.
Prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
Previous experience in accounting is preferred.
Knowledge of Tally/Zoho Books or other accounting software.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Basic understanding of GST and accounting principles.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
