Role Description The Shipbuilding Incharge is a full-time, in office role based in Kochi, responsible for overseeing end-to-end shipbuilding activities from planning to delivery. This position manages project execution schedules, coordinates engineering and fabrication work, and ensures compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.



The role involves supervising multidisciplinary teams, monitoring resource utilization, resolving operational issues, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, consultants, and classification authorities. The Shipbuilding Incharge also contributes to continuous improvement by reviewing project performance, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices in ship construction and repair.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience in Engineering Management and Project Management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation for large industrial or Shipbuilding & Ship repair projects.
Proven Team Leadership skills, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, on-site environm
