Job Title: Business Manager
Location: AP & Telangana
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Role Purpose:
To lead, strategize, and drive the overall sales operations for the assigned state, ensuring achievement of volume, value, distribution, and market share objectives for the biscuits portfolio. The role will focus on driving channel strategy, building a high-performance sales team, and ensuring flawless execution in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Planning and Target Achievement:
Develop and execute the annual sales plan for the state in alignment with company goals.
Ensure monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets (volume/value) are met across all key channels (General Trade, Wholesale, and Institutional Sales).
Distribution Management:
Expand and strengthen the distribution network to increase market penetration and availability.
Ensure effective appointment, engagement, and management of distributors and stockists.
Drive numeric and weighted distribution growth, ensuring product availability across urban, semi-urban, and rural areas.
People Leadership:




Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales In-Charges, and Sales Officers.
Build capability through coaching, mentoring, and regular performance reviews.
Ensure implementation of structured beat planning, market working norms, and productivity enhancement.
Trade Marketing and Execution:
Ensure effective execution of trade promotions, visibility programs, and merchandising plans.
Work closely with Trade Marketing teams to implement consumer promotions and activations at the ground level.
Market Intelligence and Competition Tracking:
Monitor market trends, competition activities, pricing, and customer behavior.
Provide regular feedback and actionable insights to the senior management and marketing teams.
Financial Management:
Manage state-level sales budgets and trade spends efficiently.
Ensure healthy ROI for trade partners and maintain credit discipline across the distribution channe
