Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Engineer role based in Kolkata. The Business Development Engineer will identify and qualify current business opportunities in the power quality, metering, and distribution segments, focusing on industrial customers. Daily responsibilities include visiting client sites, understanding technical requirements, preparing proposals,



and coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams to design suitable solutions. The role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and presentations to negotiation and order closure, while maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients. The Business Development Engineer will also track market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to support product positioning and strategic planning, and prepare regular reports and forecasts for management.
Qualifications

Strong Business Development and New Business Development skills, with experience identifying opportunities and building a sustainable pipeline.
Proven Sales and client relationship management abilities, preferably in industrial, energy, or infrastructure domains.
Effective Communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
