Role Description The VMC / CNC Helper & Trainee is a full-time, on-site role located at our facility in Ahmedabad. This role supports experienced machinists in operating VMC and CNC machines, assisting with machine setup, basic loading and unloading of components, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.



The trainee helps in checking parts against specifications, handling tools and fixtures under supervision, and learning fundamental machining processes and shop practices. Daily tasks include following work instructions, supporting routine maintenance activities, documenting basic production information, and cooperating with team members to meet quality and productivity targets. The position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, grow their technical skills, and build a career in CNC machining.
Qualifications
Interest in CNC and VMC machining, with willingness to learn machine operation, tooling, and fixture handling under supervision.
Basic understanding of mechanical concepts, engineering drawings, or technical measurements (e.g., vernier calipers, micrometers) is preferred.
Ability to follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work setting, and adhere to standard operating instructions.
