Job Summary:

Blue Spire Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Mainframe Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable mainframe applications. This role focuses on payment solutions and requires expertise in Fiserv Enterprise Payments Platform, ACI Universal Payments (UP) Framework, Swift Payments, and Message Translation Service (MTS). The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in mainframe technologies, ensuring robust and compliant solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and domain knowledge expert with a deep understanding of mainframe systems, including their architecture, features, functionalities, and integration capabilities.
Design and develop end-to-end solutions leveraging JCL, COBOL, VSAM, DB2, and CICS.
Architect payment solutions using Fiserv Enterprise Payments Platform, Swift Payments, or MTS.
Integrate payment platforms with third-party services, ensuring seamless interoperability.
Develop and maintain APIs, connectors, and integration components.




Monitor and optimize solution performance, addressing bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging payment technologies.
Provide strategic insights and guidance to stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth research to support product development and client needs.
Leverage expertise in cloud computing, microservices, API integrations, and financial security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a related field.
7+ years of mainframe development experience with proficiency in JCL, COBOL, VSAM, DB2, and CICS.
Hands-on experience with Fiserv Enterprise Payments Platform, ACI UP Framework, Swift Payments, and MTS.
Solid understanding of payment processing, messaging standards, and regulatory requirements.
Expertise in mainframe architecture, debugging, performance tuning, and integration.
