Construction Manager, Onsite

Position Overview And Job Description

Purpose of Position

This position will be based out of a construction trailer at various construction sites around the US, for anywhere from 6 to 30 months, and upon completion of that job, transitioning to either remote work or to another job site. This position will primarily lead and oversee a construction management team on site to monitor contract and technical compliance,



project controls and administration, landowner coordination, owner and IE issues coordination with the EPC contractor, and overall construction of utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Principal Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and coordinate activities at the project site, including working with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and related work for renewable energy generation and energy storage projects.
Oversee construction contractor as an owner’s representative for all construction activities, including the construction of roads, foundations, structures, medium- and high-voltage electrical works, substations, and installation of owner and EPC contractor equipment at the project site.
Work with project manager regarding subcontracts, project scheduling, change orders, and controlling cost of project within the approved budget.
