Senior Manufacturing Engineer
POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer shall support the business in areas of new product development; process improvement; daily product support; project manage key programs; technical authority in metal processes; analyze and interpret technical data (engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, etc.) and create shop routings, operations sheets, tools, and other necessary processes and equipment to produce a high-quality product.
Principal Activities
- RFQ costing preparation for Current Projects & NPD Products
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing process mapping, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation and production readiness.




- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to achieve operational goals.
- Programs CNC machines to effectively and efficiently product desired product.
- Analyse and resolve Production tooling related issues
- Create new or modify existing manufacturing drawings used CAD methodology.
- Value engineer existing products and processes to reduce cost, lead time and cycle times.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- 12+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience in an high precision manufacturing environment with high mix/low to mid volume product rates. demonstrating strong expertise in process engineering, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of Tool Design (Jigs & Fixtures, Tools and Gauges) and Developments
- Extension machining background with hands-on expertise in CNC, VMC
