Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented US Tax Associate with experience in preparing Partnership (Form 1065) and S Corporation (Form 1120S) tax returns. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Federal and State tax compliance, preparation of supporting workpapers, and tax return software such as CCH Axcess, GoSystem RS, or similar. The role requires collaboration with U.S. engagement teams while ensuring timely and accurate tax return preparation. Partnerships file Form 1065 and S corporations file Form 1120-S as pass-through entities, with income reported to owners through Schedule K-1.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review U.S. Partnership (Form 1065) and S Corporation (Form 1120S) Federal tax returns.
- Prepare State tax returns and ensure compliance with multi-state filing requirements.
- Prepare and review Schedule K-1 , supporting schedules, and tax workpapers.
- Analyze trial balances, general ledgers, financial statements, and tax documents for return preparation.
- Prepare book-to-tax adjustments,



M-1/M-2 reconciliations, and other supporting schedules.
- Prepare extensions, estimated tax calculations, and apportionment schedules.
- Research Federal and State tax issues and assist in resolving technical tax queries.
- Coordinate with U.S. onshore teams to clarify tax issues and meet engagement deadlines.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure compliance with firm standards and IRS regulations.
- Support tax planning, compliance, and other special tax projects as required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA, CPA (Pursuing), EA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience in U.S. Partnership (1065) and/or S Corporation (1120S) tax.
- Robust understanding of U.S. Federal and State tax compliance.
