Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Doctors role based at NIMS Hospital in Nilambur. The role involves providing comprehensive clinical care, including assessing patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, and performing or supervising procedures as per specialty.
Doctors will monitor patient progress, update medical records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure protected, evidence-based care. Responsibilities also include counseling patients and families, participating in ward rounds, contributing to quality improvement and infection control practices, and adhering to hospital protocols and regulatory standards. Doctors may be involved in continuing medical education, case discussions, and mentoring junior medical staff to maintain high standards of practice.
Qualifications
Relevant medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution; postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) in a clinical specialty is highly preferred.
Valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council and eligibility to practice medicine in the region.
