Role Overview: The Manager / Senior Manager – Government Business Development will drive state-level government revenue across assigned territories. This is a target-driven role requiring ownership of the complete government sales cycle—from prospect identification and stakeholder engagement to tender participation and order closure. The role involves working closely with state departments, system integrators,
and partners to position Mafatlal as a preferred digital transformation partner for large-scale government education programs. Key Responsibilities : Area Responsibility Explanation Government Opportunity Development Identify and develop opportunities across education-related departments Map and pursue opportunities in State Education, Samagra Shiksha, SCERT, Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, Minority Affairs, Skill Development, and allied departments running education programs. State-Level Market Mapping Track state priorities, budgets, and funding routes Continuously monitor state schemes, CSR funding, and centrally sponsored programs to identify actionable opportunities. Tender Intelligence Track tenders at pre-RFP stage Engage with departments and partners early to understand requirements and position solutions before tenders are released.
