ERL Phase Power Technologies Ltd. is seeking a Lead Hardware Design Engineer for its subsidiary, Phase Power Protection Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. We are looking for an experienced Lead Hardware Design Engineer with strong expertise in analog electronics, power electronics, and embedded hardware to design and develop Digital/Numerical Protection Relays (Intelligent Electronic Devices – IEDs) for electrical substations. The successful candidate will contribute to hardware architecture, design, and product development while working closely with Firmware, Validation, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable products.



The role requires hands-on experience in end-to-end hardware product development, from concept and design through validation, certification, manufacturing, and production support. Please find the detailed job responsibilities and required skills below.

Responsibilities:
· Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware for Digital/Numerical Protection Relays (IEDs) from concept through production.
· Design precision analog front-end circuits for CT/PT current and voltage measurement, signal conditioning, amplification, filtering, and high-resolution ADC interfaces.
· Design isolated AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, SMPS, and protection circuits with appropriate thermal and reliability considerations.
· Develop embedded hardware using ARM/DSP processors, FPGAs, ADCs, memory interfaces, and industrial communication peripherals.
· Perform schematic design, component selection, design calcula
