Senior Backend Engineer (Python | FastAPI )
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with 3–8 years of experience building scalable, cloud-native SaaS applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Python and FastAPI, strong knowledge of database architecture and performance optimization, and hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes. You will work closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and AI teams to build secure, high-performance backend systems capable of supporting enterprise-scale workloads.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance scalable backend services and APIs using FastAPI.
Architect and build scalable backend systems for multi-tenant SaaS platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and reliability.
Design, optimize, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases with a strong focus on schema design, indexing, query optimization, transactions, and performance tuning.
Develop containerized applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes environments.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
Integrate machine learning models and background task queues (Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka), and external APIs into production systems.
Ensure high code quality through unit and integration testing (e.g., PyTest), peer reviews, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design decisions.
Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, system architecture, and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–8 years of backend software development experience using Python.
B.E /B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with FastAPI (preferred), Flask, and/or Django in production environments.
