Position : Senior Software Sales Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking a energetic, result-oriented, and highly experienced Senior Software Sales Engineer to spearhead our software sales activities across India. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical acumen in industrial metrology and software solutions with exceptional commercial and team leadership capabilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation to technical qualification, quoting, and commercial PO negotiations. You will Guide and Push a high-performing, pan-India sales team, guiding them strategically to penetrate the market, cross-sell software solutions into existing and competition CMM accounts, and capture new market share in alignment with Zeiss CMM Machines and advanced metrology software suites.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development (Pan-India)
Own and drive the pan-India sales targets for the metrology software portfolio, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
Identify, target,



and acquire high-value customers across key manufacturing segments including Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, and Precision Engineering.
Promote and position advanced metrology software (e.g., ZEISS CALYPSO, PiWeb, Gear, and Blade solutions) as premium value-add upgrades to new and existing CMM hardware installations.
2. End-to-End Deal Management (Lead to PO)
Manage the complete sales lifecycle: source and qualify leads, architect technical solutions, present compelling software demonstrations, issue quotes, and lead commercial PO negotiations.
Engage directly with key customers, procurement heads, plant managers, and quality directors to establish strong executive-level relationships.
Formulate clear commercial proposals and navigate complex legal, commercial, and technical evaluation processes to secure high-value contracts.
