I’m not looking for a marketing degree. I’m looking for a marketer.
Someone who looks at a pack and thinks, “Why would anyone pick this up?”
Who sees an ad and wonders, “Would I stop scrolling for this?”
Who walks into a supermarket and notices what’s selling, what’s placed where, what catches the eye and why.
Someone who can look at our Instagram, website, packaging, Amazon listing, sampling counter or even a WhatsApp message and instinctively think:
This could be better. And I know how.
A little about us
It’s Moong is a young food brand built around a very easy thought; why aren’t we doing more with the humble moong?
We’re taking an ingredient Indians have grown up with and reimagining it for the way people eat today. From high protein foods and breakfast cereals to soups, protein powders and newer formats we’re constantly working on.
We’re still young, still experimenting, still figuring things out, which also means there’s a LOT to market, build, question and make better.
And that’s exactly why we need a marketer who gets excited by the opportunity to help shape a brand, rather than just follow an already written playbook.
I’m looking for someone with:
Strong visual and design sense
An instinct for what sells
Consumer understanding
Curiosity about brands, products and people
The ability to spot what isn’t working
Ideas. Lots of them.
And most importantly, ownership. You shouldn’t need to be told to think about marketing.
Experience? Honestly, secondary.
You could have 1 year of experience and be brilliant at this.
Because I’m looking for someone who chose marketing because this is how their brain naturally works and not because their degree told them to.
If you obsess over brands, communication, packaging, consumer behaviour and why people buy what they buy, I’d like to meet you.
