We are looking for an experienced Teams Telephony / Voice Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, SBCs, SIP, and voice infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Teams voice architecture and experience working with AudioCodes and/or Ribbon/Sonus SBCs, along with strong troubleshooting and telecom carrier coordination skills.
? Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and support Microsoft Teams Phone / Teams Telephony solutions.
Provide deep expertise in Teams Direct Routing and understand its differences from Operator Connect and Calling Plans.
Configure and manage SBCs, including AudioCodes Mediant and/or Ribbon/Sonus SBC platforms.
Configure SIP trunks, IP profiles, codecs, routing rules, and HA/failover.
Troubleshoot SIP signaling, SDP, codecs, transcoding, and media bypass.
Analyze SIP ladders and troubleshoot complex voice call flows.
Configure and manage PSTN gateways, voice routes, PSTN usages, and online voice-routing policies.
Configure Teams dial plans and number normalization,



including regex-based normalization rules.
Work closely with telecom/carrier providers on SIP trunks, DID ranges, number porting, and related connectivity.
Support Emergency Calling / E911, agile emergency calling, and Location Information Services.
Troubleshoot voice issues using SBC logs, Syslog, Wireshark traces, Teams Call Analytics, and Call Quality Dashboard (CQD).
Configure and support Teams voice applications including Resource Accounts, Auto Attendants, Call Queues, and Caller ID policies.
Troubleshoot voice networking components including TLS/SRTP certificates, firewall/NAT, QoS, and media ports.
Support high-availability and resilient voice infrastructure.
