Role Description The Articleship role is an internship position based in office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The intern will support audit teams in statutory, internal, tax, and transfer pricing audits by assisting with documentation, working papers, sampling, and testing of controls and transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include data analysis, reviewing financial statements, supporting tax computations, preparing schedules,



and assisting in research on tax and regulatory issues, especially for cross-border transactions. The role also involves coordinating with team members, maintaining organized records, and learning firm methodologies and professional standards. Interns are expected to follow ethical guidelines, meet deadlines, and actively participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and data interpretation.
Ability to research tax and regulatory matters, especially related to corporate and cross-border transactions.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for documentation, reporting, and client interaction under guidance.
Attention to detail, integrity, and a structured approach to work with good time-management skills.
