About the Role
Avinash Industries designs and manufactures kitchen appliances in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
Motor selection, speed control and drive specification
Design of control interfaces — touch panels, switches, displays and timers
Ignition and safety circuit design
Specification and technical review of PCB work carried out by electronics vendors
Wiring harness design and connector selection suited to high-temperature, high-grease operating conditions
Certification of designs for electrical safety and BIS compliance
Collaboration with the mechanical design team from concept stage onward
Requirements
Experience in electrical or electronic design for appliances, motors or comparable consumer hardware
Practical knowledge of motor drives, control PCBs and production wiring harnesses
Ability to specify and review vendor electronics work
Familiarity with Indian electrical safety standards and BIS requirements for domestic appliances
