Role Description
We are looking for a hands-on Software, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer who can work across development, networking, servers and security. The role involves building applications while also helping establish and maintain the infrastructure on which they operate.
Key Responsibilities
Develop back-end applications, APIs, databases and business automation tools.
Set up and manage servers, LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS and enterprise networks.
Configure firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF, DDoS protection, MFA and access controls.
Conduct authorized vulnerability assessments,



penetration testing and ethical hacking.
Manage Linux/Windows servers, cloud infrastructure, storage and databases.
Implement monitoring, centralized logging, backups, replication and disaster recovery.
Build high-availability infrastructure with redundancy, load balancing and failover.
Manage Git, deployments, CI/CD and containerized environments.
Troubleshoot applications, networks, servers and cybersecurity incidents.
Qualifications
Degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience, with knowledge of software development, networking, servers, databases and cybersecurity. Experience with Python/Java/C#, Linux, Git, cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes and security tools is preferred.

This may exceed to become an in office role in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. A valid passport is mandatory for consideration.
