ROLE OVERVIEW
The Executive / Senior Executive – Practice Transformation is a lawyer within the Practice Transformation function, working at the intersection of legal practice, technology and innovation to help lawyers use AI and digital platforms more effectively in their day-to-day work.
The role combines hands-on adoption support with practice transformation and innovation. Depending on experience, the individual will work closely with practice teams on live matters, identify opportunities to improve legal workflows, support pilots of AI and technology solutions, and help translate successful use cases into repeatable approaches across the firm.
A significant part of the role involves understanding how lawyers actually work — identifying where technology can remove friction,
improve efficiency or change an established workflow, while also recognizing where a tool or approach does not add sufficient value.
The role requires someone who is comfortable working closely with lawyers, learning recent technology quickly, testing ideas in practice and forming an independent view on what works. The successful candidate will combine legal understanding with curiosity about technology, structured thinking, strong communication and a practical, support-oriented approach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
AI & Technology Adoption
Support lawyers and practice teams in the effective use of the firm's approved AI platforms and digital tools.
Act as a point of contact for assigned practice groups on AI and technology-related queries and use cases.
Provide hands-on support on live matters, helping lawyers apply technology to their own documents, workflows and processes.
