The Role

As an SDE II, you'll take end-to-end ownership of complex features and systems on the React Native platform. You'll co-define the technical roadmap for your team, set the bar on code quality and architecture, and partner closely with product and design to ship mission-critical experiences atlargescale.

What You'll Do

Own the end-to-end design and architecture of complex React Native features and systems.
Partner with product and design to translate requirements into high-level and low-level technical design.
Enable best practices across the team — linting standards, reusable component libraries, testing patterns.
Build reusable code and shared libraries that accelerate future development.
Ensure pixel-perfect implementation across Android devices with a detail-oriented approach.
Optimize app performance for speed, scalability, and reliability at millions-of-users scale.
Mentor SDE Is and contribute to a high-quality engineering culture through code reviews and design discussions.





What We're Looking For

3–5 years of experience with solid proficiency in React Native and React fundamentals.
Working knowledge of Android Native development.
Strong TypeScript skills; deep understanding of ES6+ patterns.
Sound grasp of design patterns and principles for clean, maintainable, reusable code.
Ability to internalize third-party library internals — not just use them, but understand them.
Experience with TDD and unit testing using Jest or react-native-testing-library.

Nice to Have

Experience with state management libraries: Redux, Redux Saga, or Zustand.
Familiarity with monorepo tooling like Lerna.
Prior experience optimizing React Native apps for performance on low-end Android devices.
