The Senior Tax Analyst will play a critical role in managing direct tax compliance, reporting, transfer pricing, tax accounting, and controversy matters for the Company's India operations. This position will ensure full compliance with Indian tax regulations, support financial reporting requirements, coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities, and contribute to tax planning and process improvement initiatives. The role requires robust technical knowledge of Indian corporate taxation, transfer pricing, tax accounting, and tax audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting
Manage all direct tax compliance activities for Indian legal entities, including:
PAN registrations and related tax registrations.
Preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns.
Quarterly TDS/TCS return filings.
Tax audit and transfer pricing audit filings.
Computation and payment of advance tax, self-assessment tax, and withholding taxes.
Monitor compliance calendars and ensure all statutory filing obligations are completed accurately and within prescribed deadlines.




Review tax computations and supporting schedules to ensure compliance with applicable Indian tax laws.
Tax Accounting & Financial Reporting
Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Calculate current and deferred income tax balances, including deferred tax assets and liabilities.
Perform effective tax rate (ETR) analysis and prepare related reporting packages for management.
Record and reconcile tax-related journal entries and ensure accurate tax accounting within the general ledger.
Assist in preparing tax disclosures and income tax footnotes for statutory financial statements and annual reports.
Transfer Pricing
Coordinate preparation and completion of annual transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking studies.
Support transfer pricing audits and ensure compliance with Indian transfer pricing regulations.
