We are looking for a target-driven Sales Manager to manage and grow solar sales in an assigned territory. The role involves leading the field sales team, achieving monthly targets, developing current customers and channels, and ensuring a smooth sales process from lead generation to order closure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Prepare territory-wise sales plans and execute them effectively.
Drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Monitor daily sales performance and pipeline.
Identify opportunities in new markets and territories.
2. Team Management
Manage and guide Sales Executives / Solar Consultants.
Set individual targets and monitor daily performance.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Accompany team members on field visits and customer meetings.
Train the team on product knowledge, sales techniques and objection handling.
Motivate the team to consistently achieve targets.
3. Lead & Customer Management
Ensure timely follow-up on all assigned leads.




Track leads from enquiry through site visit, proposal and order closure.
Personally handle important and high-value customers.
Maintain strong customer relationships and improve conversion rates.
Resolve customer concerns and coordinate with relevant internal teams.
4. Territory Development
Identify new customer segments and business opportunities.
Develop relationships with dealers, channel partners, builders, influencers and local business networks.
Conduct market visits and understand competitor activity.
Increase the company's presence and sales within the assigned territory.
5. Sales Process & CRM
Ensure all leads and customer information are updated accurately in the CRM.
Monitor funnel movement and identify stalled leads.
Track daily calls, meetings, site visits, proposals and conversions.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
