Trident Staff is seeking an experienced IT Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition across the Canadian staffing and workforce solutions market.
This prospect is designed for experienced staffing sales professionals with a proven track record of selling IT staffing and workforce solutions. Your primary focus will be generating new business, building strategic client relationships, and closing enterprise staffing opportunities.
Our internal teams manage recruitment delivery, candidate sourcing, onboarding, payroll, compliance, invoicing, and ongoing account management, allowing you to focus exclusively on business development and revenue generation.
Prospect and secure current staffing clients across Canada.
Build relationships with enterprise organizations, consulting firms, MSP/VMS programs, and direct corporate clients.
Generate new business through cold calling, Linked In outreach, referrals, networking, and strategic sales campaigns.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline focused on long-term revenue growth.




Promote Trident Staff's service offerings, including:
Contract Staffing
Contract-to-Hire
Permanent Placement
Project-Based & Statement of Work (SOW) Engagements
Build relationships with HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Operations, and IT decision-makers.
Navigate enterprise procurement processes, including MSP and VMS environments.
Lead client meetings, negotiate commercial terms, and manage the sales lifecycle from prospecting through signed agreements.
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts.
5+ years of business development experience within the staffing or recruitment industry.
Proven success selling IT staffing or workforce solutions in the Canadian market.
Demonstrated ability to generate new business and grow enterprise client relationships.
Strong understanding of contract staffing, contract-to-hire, permanent recruitment, and project-based staffing models.
