Role Description The Accountant at The Travel World will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and ensuring timely invoicing and payment collections. The role also involves assisting with budgeting,



monitoring cash flow, maintaining accurate records for audits and compliance, and coordinating with management on financial reporting. The Accountant will support tax-related documentation and help improve financial processes and controls. This is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular collaboration with operations and management teams.
Qualifications
Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including experience with ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), MS Excel, and basic MS Office tools.
Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, and compliance requirements relevant to small and medium-sized businesses.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations
