Role Description The Deputy Head Homes is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur, responsible for supporting the overall management and effective functioning of Sevalaya’s residential homes. This role includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring the safety, well-being, and holistic development of residents,



and coordinating with staff to maintain a nurturing and compliant environment. The Deputy Head Homes will assist in planning and implementing programs, supervising caregiving and support teams, monitoring standards of care, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The role involves close collaboration with the Head of Homes, other departmental leads, and external stakeholders, as well as regular communication with families, donors, and partners. The position requires proactive problem-solving, adherence to organizational policies and statutory requirements, and continuous improvement of processes and services.
Qualifications
Experience in residential care management, social work, or community development, preferably in child care, elder care, or similar welfare settings.
