Jagran New Media (JNM) is the digital wing of Jagran Prakashan Limited (JPL), India's leading media group, with interests in print, OOH, radio, and digital. JPL publishes Dainik Jagran, the world's largest-read Hindi daily, and owns Radio City. This role would require a strong command of Hindi language, excellent editorial judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced digital setting. Content Editing and Proofreading: Thoroughly edit and proofread Sports news articles, features, and other content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, clarity, factual accuracy, and adherence to the portal's style guide and editorial policies.

• Headline and Deck Writing: Craft compelling and accurate headlines, sub-headlines (decks), and captions that grab readers' attention and accurately reflect the content.

• Content Optimization:



Ensure content is optimized for online readability, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and social media sharing. Story Structure and Flow: Review and improve the structure, flow, and overall presentation of news stories to enhance reader engagement and understanding.

• Legal and Ethical Compliance: Ensure all published content adheres to legal and ethical guidelines, including copyright laws and defamation standards

1-3 years of Sports News writing Experience in the relevant domain.

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field

• Strong skills in Editorial processes and Writing.

• Experience with New Media platforms. And excellent command of the Hindi language.
