ROLE The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for the psychological assessment and management of patients presenting with a range of emotional, behavioural, psychological, and adjustment-related concerns.

The role involves independent clinical work as well as appropriate collaboration with other healthcare professionals when a multidisciplinary approach is indicated.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct structured clinical interviews and comprehensive psychological assessments.

• Establish appropriate clinical formulations based on presenting concerns, history, behavioural patterns, psychosocial factors, and available clinical information.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and formulation.

• Provide evidence-based psychological interventions appropriate to the patient's clinical needs.

• Monitor treatment response and review clinical outcomes over the course of care.

• Conduct appropriate risk assessment, including assessment of self-harm, suicide risk, abuse, neglect, or other relevant safeguarding concerns.

• Recognize situations requiring psychiatric, medical, emergency, or other specialist referral and coordinate care appropriately.

• Maintain transparent, accurate, confidential, and contemporaneous clinical documentation.

• Prepare psychological assessment reports and clinical summaries when required.
