The National Sales Manager - Ventilation Division is responsible for managing and enhancing the sales of the company. He/she will have national responsibility and manages the sales team across the country. The reporting line is to the Managing Director Sales. The National Sales Manager acts in line with the global strategy of the German parent company as well as the APAC regional goals.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in a technical field, ideally electrical or mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification. Additional training in a business-related field is desirable. Positive experience from Chillers, Air purifiers, HVAC, Pumps and selling to consultants sets him/her apart. An MBA is preferred. Experience in OEM Sales.

Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing as well as new products and market segments

Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans

Maintain sales volume,



product mix and selling price by keeping current supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors

establishing personal networks; Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies

Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI targets are met

Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition

Trust-based collaboration with management

Several years of experience in managing sales teams in Indian entities which produce products that require technical explanation. Maintaining existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers in an established market environment, while monitoring the market and evaluating new market opportunities and product applications.
