Sales Engineer (Steel Fabrication Plants)

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with strong technical and commercial knowledge in steel fabrication to drive business growth. The role involves identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing technical proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to secure and execute projects successfully.

Business Development & Sales

• o Piling and deep foundation tools & accessories

o Machining and custom fabrication works

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants

• Technical Sales & Proposal Preparation

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals

• Coordinate with estimation and production teams for accurate costing

• Ensure proposals meet client requirements and project specifications

Project Handover & Coordination





• Ensure smooth handover of awarded projects to production team

• Production, Procurement & QC

• Follow up on project progress and client satisfaction

Market Intelligence

• Identify new sectors and potential clients (oil & gas, construction, industrial projects)

• Reporting & CRM

• Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports

Track sales pipeline and performance

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related field

• 3–7 years of experience in:

o Steel fabrication / metal works / industrial projects

• Proven track record in sales and business development

• Solid ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• o Steel fabrication processes

o AutoCAD (preferred)

o Microsoft Excel (very important for costing)

Commercial Skills

• Strong relationship-building ability

• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Sales target achievement

• Profit margin on projects
