The vision of the College and Career Guidance (CCG) cell at Ekya Schools is to guide and nurture student aspirations and provide them with a platform to achieve their ambitions by embarking on a rewarding future career path.
The CCG cell serves as a vital link between students, parents, teachers, and global universities by offering a program focused on key aspects of career counselling and the college planning/placement process. Build career awareness within the school community through workshops, expert sessions, and university visits.
Provide one-on-one counselling for students on campus.
Develop a Career-Aware Senior School Community:
Equip teachers and parents with tools and frameworks to support student career development.
Build a comprehensive repository of colleges, courses, exams, and scholarships.
Mentor staff on writing effective letters of recommendation.
Plan and lead university field trips and education fair visits.
Consolidate student data and documentation required for college applications.
Career development:
Design and lead workshops and training modules in college and career guidance for stakeholders.
Identify and attend relevant upskilling workshops in the field of guidance and counselling.
Support the College and Career Guidance Program Coordinator in daily operations as required.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in counselling and guidance preferred.
Degree from top Indian institutions or global universities.
Experience with counselling principles and techniques to support student development.
Deep understanding of both Indian and global education systems, and related developments. Willingness to travel across all CMR K–12 and Ekya School campuses as needed.
