Senior Content Editor – Politics, International Affairs & Geopolitics

The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable handling breaking developments, writing in-depth feature articles, and creating insightful explainers that help readers understand the significance of global events.

Write high-quality news stories, feature articles, explainers and analytical pieces on current affairs.

Identify emerging global trends and assess their relevance for Indian readers and competitive exam aspirants.

Develop engaging, research-backed content that is accurate, balanced and easy to understand.

Mentor junior team members, provide editorial guidance and contribute to content planning and quality initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

~ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, International Relations or a related discipline.

~4–5 years of editorial experience in a reputed digital newsroom (mandatory).

~ Proven experience covering political and international news.

~ Strong understanding of global affairs, diplomacy,



foreign policy and contemporary geopolitical developments.

~ Demonstrated ability to write compelling feature articles, explainers and analytical content.

~ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced digital publishing environment.

Understanding of digital publishing best practices, SEO and audience engagement is desirable.

Strong editorial judgment and news sense.

Analytical mindset with the ability to contextualise complex global events.

Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor, collaborate and drive editorial excellence.
