Role: Head Direct Sales

Head Office, Chennai

The Head of Direct Sales will lead the end-to-end sales strategy and execution for the fumed silica product line, focusing on direct customer engagement across industries such as pharmaceuticals, adhesives and sealants, coatings and construction,. This role demands a strong blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and hands-on sales experience in B2B segment.

Direct Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement direct sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Drive penetration in key accounts and expand market share.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and nurture long-term relationships with manufacturers, formulators, and end-users.

Market Development & Intelligence

Analyze market trends,



competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales approach.

Technical Sales Enablement

Train internal sales teams on product features and value propositions.

Lead and mentor a team of regional sales managers.

Set KPIs, monitor performance, and report progress to senior leadership.

Ensure CRM systems and sales processes are effectively utilized.

Bachelor's/Master's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field

MBA/PG in Management will be an added advantage in addition to Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering

15 - 18 Years in B2B sales of specialty chemicals or industrial materials in which 5+ years in a team management role
