Field Sales Engineer – Semiconductor Industry

EdgeTech Scientific Pvt. We are looking for a technically skilled and motivated Business Development Professional to drive business growth across the semiconductor, solar/PV, scientific instrumentation, and advanced R&D; equipment sectors .

This role is ideal for someone who combines technical understanding with robust sales and business development capabilities and is comfortable engaging with scientists, researchers, engineers, manufacturing teams, purchase departments, and key decision-makers.

Whom We Are Looking For We are seeking candidates with experience in technical sales, business development, or scientific/industrial equipment sales , preferably within the semiconductor, solar/PV, scientific instrumentation, metrology, process equipment, or advanced R&D; ecosystem.

Sc. in Physics / Electronics

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering

• Experience





Prior experience in technical sales or business development involving one or more of the following is preferred:

• Semiconductor equipment

• Solar cell / PV manufacturing equipment

• Scientific & laboratory instrumentation

• Semiconductor process equipment

• Thin-film and material characterisation equipment

• Advanced R&D; equipment

Experience working with R&D; institutes, universities, government laboratories, semiconductor manufacturers will be an advantage.

Semiconductor processing and device fabrication

• Metrology and electrical characterisation

• Thin-film technology

• Solar/PV cell and ingot manufacturing

• Scientific and advanced research instrumentation

Consultative and solution-oriented sales approach

• Negotiation and commercial skills

• Customer relationship management

• Travel

The candidate should be willing to travel across India for customer meetings, technical discussions, product presentations, exhibitions, conference
