Role Description The Senior Design Engineer will lead the design and development of injection molds, overseeing projects from concept through detailed design and into manufacturing handover. This full-time, on-site role is based in Noida and involves creating 3D and 2D designs, validating mold feasibility, and optimizing designs for manufacturability, durability, and productivity.



Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing customer specifications, preparing design documentation, and supporting tooling and trial runs to resolve technical issues. The Senior Design Engineer will mentor junior engineers, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and design guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in plastic injection mold design, component detailing, and product development for manufacturing.
Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience in 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and tolerance analysis.
Knowledge of materials, mold flow, and manufacturing processes, including tooling, machining, and trial run optimization.
Demonstrated ability to manage design projects, coordinate with production and quality teams, and communicate effectively with global customers.
