Position Overview
The Project Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing all procurement activities for the data center project in Kurnool, ensuring timely sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
- Create procurement schedules and milestones in coordination with project management teams
- Conduct market research to identify qualified suppliers and optimal procurement channels
- Prepare detailed procurement plans including material requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers through systematic qualification processes
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to achieve cost-effectiveness
- Maintain robust vendor relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations
- Manage vendor compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations
Purchase Order & Contract Management
- Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved budgets
