About The Role: General Sales Manager – India 2 Region
A key member of the Sales Leadership team, the role is pivotal in accelerating Dyson’s offline growth in the India 2 region with a Geographical Scope of managing South & East India. The role looks for driving sales leadership across offline channels to lead and grow the sales in South & East geography for Dyson India.
Role & Responsibilities:
Sales & profit delivery
- Provide hands on leadership across all offline sales channels to deliver the India 2 business plan.
- Responsible for sales of all categories – Vacuum Cleaners, Air Purifiers, Hair Care and Lighting across the India 2 region
- Provide leadership to sales teams managing various channels - Dyson Owned or Partner Operated (EBOs), National key accounts like Croma, Reliance etc., Regional Key accounts, General Trade and Beauty Channels.
- Manage all operational areas and activities required for sell out delivery.
- Own customer experience and aim to deliver par excellence experience to customers.
- Responsible for delivering the overall P&L; for India 2
Leadership and development of Sales teams
- Lead and motivate a team of people to ensure that they are developed and challenged in their roles to maximize their potential (across Dyson Employees and 3rd party team members)
- Understand aspirations, motivation of employees across different channels and keep them engaged.
- Support people strategies of people development, reward and resourcing.
- Coach, develop and lead direct reports in all areas of people management activity.
- Act as a role model to demonstrate Dyson Way and develop capability.
Collaboration across Functions & Sales team
- Build robust partnerships with the Sales Leadership Team and other key colleagues/stakeholders.
