Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Control
- Monitor and inspect incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform routine quality checks on in-process and finished products to verify dimensions, strength, aesthetics, and functionality.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, policies, and documentation.
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all products meet relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM) and customer requirements.
- Maintain records of quality assurance activities, inspections, and audits to meet internal and external compliance requirements.
- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Collaborate with production, design,
and procurement teams to address quality concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports to track trends, identify problem areas, and recommend improvements.
- Health, Safety, and Setting (HSE)
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations during quality checks and inspections.
- Promote a culture of quality and safety across all departments.
Required Skills
- Certification in quality management systems is a plus.
- Practical knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is an advantage.
- Familiarity with aluminum fabrication processes, including extrusion, cutting, machining, and assembly.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
- Ability to prepare and analyze quality reports using MS Office and other relevant software.
