Our firm provides specialized research and support to a global client base of private equity and hedge fund entities. The role is for a skilled analyst to provide critical support to clients' investment professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial analysis and the ability to operate autonomously within a demanding workplace.
Responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Analysis: Construct and maintain various financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), sum-of-the-parts (SOTP), and comparable company analyses, to help with investment decisions.

Due Diligence & Research: Conduct in-depth research on prospective companies, industries, and market trends. Analyze financial statements, business models, and competitive landscapes to understand key drivers and potential risks.

Reporting & Documentation: Prepare investment memos, presentations, and other documents for internal review and consideration by the investment committee.

Market Intelligence:
Use data platforms like Bloomberg / CapIQ and other research tools to gather industry data, track market movements, and support the valuation process.

Ad Hoc Projects: Provide assistance with a variety of projects as needed, such as portfolio company analysis, mergers and acquisitions research, and performance tracking.
Qualifications

Education: A Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance is required. Candidacy for or attainment of the CFA Level III certification is highly advantageous.

Experience: 7-10 years of professional experience in buy-side investment research is necessary, with direct exposure to supporting private equity or hedge fund portfolio managers. Prior experience in a front-office research capacity is a significant advantage.

Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methodologies, including DCF, SOTP, and comparable analyses, is a prerequisite.
