Qualification
B.E. / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in substation clamps and connectors
• Hands-on experience in design, application, and selection of clamps & connectors up to 765 kV
• For senior-level candidates, extensive experience in high-voltage clamps & connectors
- Working knowledge of Autocad, solid works.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and development of substation clamps and connectors for various current ratings
• Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards in design and manufacturing
• Application engineering for EHV/HV substations up to 765 kV
• Support in product customization as per project/client requirements
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams for prototype development and testing
• Provide technical support to project execution and client teams
• Review customer specifications and prepare technical proposals where required
Key Skills & Knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of clamps and connectors applications in substations
• Familiarity with design software/tools
• Solid understanding of IS/IEC standards related to clamps and connectors
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
