Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in the high-flammable industry, specializing in handling hazardous materials such as chemicals, acids, and gases. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, implementing safety protocols, and promoting a safe working environment. The ideal candidate must have experience in industries with high-risk operations involving flammable substances and must be well-versed in managing safety precautions at an advanced level.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, especially those concerning hazardous materials like acids, chemicals, and gases.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.
- Risk Assessment & Management:
- Perform risk assessments specific to high-flammable materials, processes,



and equipment.
- Develop and implement safety measures to reduce risks related to handling, storage, and transportation of dangerous chemicals and gases.
- Safety Protocol Development:
- Create, update, and enforce safety protocols, emergency response plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in alignment with industry best practices for high-risk environments.
- Ensure high-level safety precautions are in place, including fire prevention, explosion protection, and proper ventilation systems.
- Training & Education:
- Conduct safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors on best practices for handling flammable materials and chemicals.
- Provide guidance on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency response techniques.
- Incident Investigation & Reporting:
- Investigate safety incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine root causes and
