Role Description The Associate Professor of Psychology is a full-time, on-site position based at the Karjat campus. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses, designing and updating curricula aligned with contemporary research and interdisciplinary frameworks, and mentoring students in academic and career development. The position is governed by UGC Regulations, on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and seeks candidates with a strong research record, global exposure, and demonstrated experience in AI-enabled and technology-driven andragogy.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning




- Teach UG & PG courses in Psychology and related Liberal Arts/Social Science areas.
- Design and deliver innovative, learner-centred, and technology-enabled, including AI tools for assessment, feedback, and personalization.

Curriculum Development
- Engage in the design, revision, and review of curricula in Psychology and allied interdisciplinary courses.
- Align curriculum with NEP 2020 and UGC guidelines where applicable, integrating global and Indian perspectives.

Research and Publications
- Conduct independent and team-oriented research in Psychology or allied disciplines.
- Publish regularly in peer-reviewed and UGC-CARE/UGC-listed journals, and contribute to edited volumes, books, and funded projects.

Student Mentoring and Academic Leadership
- Guide and mentor students in academic, co-curricular, and research activities, including dissertations, internships, and projects.
