The Role
As a Mechanical Designer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Responsible for performing HVAC design activities using project approved in house 3D CAD modelling and 2D drafting systems.
- Produce the various HVAC discipline deliverables to the agreed schedules.
- Apply recognized onshore/offshore engineering practices applicable to HVAC design and layouts.
- Apply valuable interpersonal skills, liaising with members of other disciplines and departments.
- Apply an awareness and willingness to work as a team member.
- Quality Assurance – work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.
- Safety – Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Diploma of engineering or equivalent.
- Familiar with the prime drivers related to onshore/offshore HVAC layout design.
- Software knowledge: AutoCAD, Aveva E3D, MicroStation (preferable), BIM (preferable), etc.
- Minimum 6 - 8years proven experience of detailed HVAC piping design gained with design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the petrochemical industry particularly with respect to onshore/offshore oil and gas installations.
- A good knowledge of
