Role Summary





Group Bayport is expanding its Rugs business and is looking for a senior production professional to lead the design and build-out of a new manufacturing line, and to subsequently own end-to-end production across multiple rug categories. This is a founding role for the production function — the successful candidate will help shape processes, vendor relationships, quality systems, and team structure from the ground up, with a particular need for hands-on expertise in printed rugs manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and setup of a new production line for rugs, covering machinery selection, plant layout, workflow design, and capacity planning.
- Drive production across multiple rug categories (e.g. printed, tufted, woven, flatweave, shag) as the business scales, with a solid initial focus on printed rugs.
- Own the end-to-end manufacturing process — raw material planning, production scheduling, quality control, and finishing — to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
