About the Job:
Gnapi Technologies is seeking a high-impact GIS Consultant with deep expertise in ESRI Utility Network (UN) and GE Smallworld to lead and execute complex bi-directional data migrations. This role is critical for large-scale utility transformation programs involving legacy Smallworld systems and modern ESRI Utility Network architectures.

What you’ll Do:
- Lead end-to-end GIS data migration between GE Smallworld and ESRI Utility Network
- Analyze and map Smallworld schemas and data models to ESRI Utility Network
- Design migration strategies for structure networks,
domain networks, asset groups, asset types, and associations
- Handle network topology, connectivity rules, containment, and association migration
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration quality checks
- Support cutover, rollback, and delta migration strategies
- Strong hands-on experience with ESRI Utility Network (UN)
- Domain Networks, Structure Networks, Asset Groups & Asset Types
- Network Rules, Associations, Connectivity & Containment
- ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro
- Robust understanding of Smallworld GIS data models
- Experience extracting and transforming Smallworld utility data
- Exposure to Magik-based environments
Must Haves:
Data Migration & ETL:
- Large-scale utility GIS data migration experience
- FME or FME-alternative migration approaches
- Python / ArcPy-based migration frameworks
- GDAL/OGR and database-driven ETL
