Your Role We are currently seeking a highly experienced Designer for Large Scale Mixed Use commercial residential led developments with retail hospitality As a Gensler Designer you will collaborate with our design team to develop innovative design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project You demonstrate innovative thinking and are a recognized contributor to high-profile design driven projects Our team is highly creative collaborative and dedicated to creative problem solving and design excellence Your work ethic and dedication to problem solving combined with our commitment to collaboration and mentoring makes Gensler the perfect place to further your career What You Will Do Ideate and lead the team in collaboration with the Design Director to create innovative designs in response to complex challenges Participate in all project phases including conceptual designs presentations schematic design design development construction documents and production Collaborate with design team clients consultants contractors fabricators regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives Produce graphic presentations 3D renderings and construction drawings Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Effective communicator collaborative and team-conscious Provide Mentorship and coaching to grow junior staff members Participate in office culture and initiatives Your Qualifications Bachelor s degree Architecture or foreign equivalent Master s degree is a plus 10 years of related project experience preferably in commercial-led and residential-led mixed use but also across various practice areas Registered Architect Knowledge of materials construction techniques and building codes LEED accreditation a plus Your Design Technology Qual
