Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for growing sales of B&R;’s next generation technology, machine connectivity, automation & edge, high end motion system & technology software solutions in the defined area. The role demands a mix of sales acumen, technical understanding, and customer engagement.
The work model for the role is: #LI- Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Machine Automation Division -B&R; in Pune region in India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Develop and sustain positive customer relationships through consistent engagement, while creating new inquiries and building a robust prospect pipeline.
- Analyze customer requirements and market trends to develop and present value-driven techno-commercial solutions.
- Support business growth by handling negotiations, closing opportunities, and meeting sales targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional B&R; teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted automation consultant and brand ambassador, promoting B&R;’s innovative technologies and solutions.
- Expand market presence through participation in exhibitions, seminars, customer events, and product demonstrations.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, develop reliable sales forecasts, and provide regular business performance reports.
- Monitor customer needs, market developments, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and build long-term partnerships.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field).
- 8–10 years of demonstrated sales experience within industrial automation envi
