About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director / Technical Director who combines robust technical leadership with hands-on engineering expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java-based enterprise application development, a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams, and practical experience leveraging AI technologies to build intelligent products and improve engineering productivity.

This is a highly technical leadership role where the candidate is expected to drive architecture, mentor engineering teams, make strategic technology decisions, and remain hands-on with design and critical development activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of large-scale enterprise applications using Java technologies.
- Drive engineering excellence, technical strategy, and best practices across multiple development teams.




- Manage and mentor engineering managers, technical leads, and software engineers.
- Participate in hands-on architecture, design reviews, code reviews, and solution implementation.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered engineering practices and modern software development methodologies.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product management, and customers to define technical roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML, Generative AI, and automation to improve products and engineering efficiency.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery through Agile and DevOps practices.
- Own technical governance, engineering standards, scalability, security, and performance.

Required Skills

Technical Expertise
- 15+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Microservices.
